Communities across the state are exploring ways to repurpose underutilized buildings into valuable local assets. This year’s VCDA Fall Conference will explore how these spaces can be transformed to meet evolving community needs. Whether it’s impending school closures, vacant churches, or unused municipal space, Vermont communities are thinking proactively about the potential uses of these buildings – from housing to childcare centers, local gathering hubs, and more. Attendees will learn about creative financing pathways, partnership models, and hear success stories. Join local leaders, planners, and development partners to share ideas, strategies and inspiring examples of how the reuse of these assets can strengthen and revitalize our communities.

Golden Consulting serves as Operations Manager for VCDA. In addition, we help plan and manage their Spring and Fall Conferences. Our event services include creation of a dedicated event page, creation and management of an Eventbrite registration page, management of email communications and promotion, and logistical administration of the event both in advance and on the day of the conference.
